Whoo hoo it's Friday! The weekend is nearly here : )

Today I have worn a Bench t-shirt with a Primark studded bag, skirt, belt and flats. It is a Primark fest : )

 

I have decided this year I am having a homemade Christmas, so I will be making lots of my own presents (food and booze). Which means I will start to put some recipes up and pictures of my cooking concoctions. So not only will you get to see inside my wardrobe you will also get to see inside my kitchen : )

Whoo hoo it's nearly the weekend already! I know it has been a shorter week with the bank holiday, but it hasn't felt it.

Today I have worn a River Island top with F&F maxi dress and my satin ballet shoes from Primark. This is a super comfy outfit : )

We had a treat at lunchtime today as the lovely Luke A who won this year's Big Brother popped into work to say hi. So in between scoffing my pasta salad I managed to get a quick picture with him. It's a little fuzzy, damn you phone!

He's a really nice bloke and spend ages signing autographs and having his pictures taken with all the staff here. I imagine there will be some jealous teenagers tonight when they find out their Mum's met Luke : )

Today I have gone for an all black ensemble, it wasn't intentional. I blame the fact it was chucking it down with rain this morning.

My wedges are from F&F and the lace dress is from Primark.

I had the best lunch ever today. Noodles from the Thai shop in town. I had prawn teriyaki and it was fit! Super stuffed now though. Better hit the gym hard tonight.

Today I have worn my Alexander McQueen inspired scarf, F&F top, M&S jeggings and Primark ballet shoes.

For some reason I am looking paler than normal in these pictures, I think a holiday to warmer climates is in order otherwise I fear I may disappear into the background!

I am currently on the search for a new cover for my HTC, I keep seeing really cute ones but they only seem to be for I Phones :(

August 26th and 27th 2012

Well it is almost the end of the bank holiday already! Doesn't time fly when you're having fun.

This weekend I took the husband away for a night. I got an amazing deal thanks to the fab Travelzoo : ) we stayed at the Derbyshire in Derby. For £79 we got dinner, bed, breakfast and a bottle of wine in the room. The room was lovely, it had a nice swimming pool, the food was superb and the wine was flowing : )

If anyone fancies a trip to the East Midlands I can highly recommend it. Even better, there is a designer outlet 5 minutes up the road from the hotel.

For the trip up yesterday I wore my lovely M&S jeggings, Topshop vest, New Look blazer and Primark ballet flats.

The jeggings are really comfortable I think I will be buying another pair in different colours when I get paid.

On Sunday evening when I was wining and dinning the hubby I wore a Debenhams dress with some limited edition Red Herring heels and a F&F clutch.

Today I have worn my backless green Zara dress with my Primark ballet flats.

Now for the cultural corner of the blog : ) Before heading back to not so sunny Wales we decided to head to the Peak district to pay a visit to Chatsworth House. It is one of the most speculator stately homes I have ever visited, it's no surprise that it has been used as a location for tons of films. One notable film is the Duchess starring Keira Knightley. It's a film based on the Duchess of Devonshire who lived in Chatsworth House in the 18th century. I think she was one lucky gal!

Today I have been a little bit naughty and did some shopping. Now I don't know if it is a case of I'm getting old or Marks and Spencer has become trendy but I came away with a pair of jewel coloured jeggings and some peep toe heels.

It has been another whirlwind week for me and now it is finally the weekend and chill time!

On Monday I wore a H&M dress and bag, Debenhams cardigan and a Primark belt and flats.

On Tuesday I wore a Dorothy Perkins dress, F&F leggings and A Primark belt and jewel coloured flats.

Jewel colours are big for Autumn/Winter think ruby, Sapphire, emerald, amethyst, topaz, aquamarine and diamond colours. It's all very luxuriant.
