On Saturday I went on my very first Tipi adventure. It's just the other side of Hereford and took about two hours to get there from Wrexham.

I have to say as someone who isn't an "outdoor kinda girl" I loved it! I cannot wait to go back again with a big group of friends. The weather was perfect for the occasion.

They tell you to pack light, but unfortunately that fell on deaf ears!

Once we had dumped everything in the tipi we set off in the canoes to go exploring. This was my first time in a canoe and it was quite scary, that was mainly due to my fear of falling in the river.

After our splish splashing we headed back for a BBQ and some much needed drinks round the camp fire.

 

 

 

For this special trip I decided I needed a special outfit, and what better outfit than a leopard print onesie. I was snug as a bug in a stylish rug.

 

 

 

 

 

When the temperature dropped a bit too much we headed into the warmth of the tipi and got the fire going in there, before we pulled out the futons and settled in for the night.

 

 

It was a great weekend, I would highly recommend it if anyone is looking for something a little bit different.
