February 9th 2013

Yesterday I wore a Debenhams dress, Kurt Geiger shoes and a H&M bag.

As Chris was off for a change we decided to go to Chester for the day and have some yummy food and drink.

When we got to Chester we decided to warm up and have a quick brew at Lombard House. I have to say this is my new favourite place. It is a little bit mis match and quirky but they serve a great cup of tea.

After a stroll round the shops we thought it was time to have a slightly harder drink. We headed to Havanas I had a dark mojito, Chris had a Corona. Dark mojitos are the way forward!

We had a late lunch in Carluccio's, I love Italian food. OK actually I love food full stop : )

I had mozzarella, pepper, parma ham and rocket to start. Some of my favourite ingredients.

For my main I went for the seafood stew. I couldn't wait to dive in, so much so I forgot to take a picture of it : ( It was very scrummy though!

For dessert I opted for a Tiramisu, when in Rome and all that...

No meal is complete without a coffee, I went for a rich double espresso : )

The great thing about Carluccio's is that you can buy lots of  the ingredients they use in their little shop. We bought some more polenta, if you haven't tried polenta yet get on it. It is filling and has very little fat.

No trip to Chester is complete without a cheeky trip to the Living Room. I got the husband a very nice £34 glass of Brandy, I went for an English Country Garden cocktail.

We eventually got home about 10pm a little bit tipsy but our taste buds were very satisfied : )
